Burnout and Body Disconnect: Supporting Nourishment in Difficult Times for Neurodivergent Clients Course
Discover practical, burnout-aware strategies to support neurodivergent clients in navigating food-related challenges, rebuilding trust in their bodies, and fostering sustainable nourishment and overall well-being.
This comprehensive course is designed to help clinicians and healthcare providers understand and address the unique food-related challenges neurodivergent clients face during burnout. Neurodivergent burnout can lead to a breakdown in interoceptive awareness, sensory overload, and executive functioning difficulties, making it hard for clients to maintain consistent eating patterns and progress.
This course offers practical strategies that prioritize flexibility, rest and sensory health. Clinicians will learn how to help clients rebuild trust in their bodies, restore nourishment, and reduce overwhelm through tailored accommodations and self-regulation techniques. Participants will gain the tools to offer client-centered therapy that meet the needs of neurodivergent individuals and support their long-term well-being.
