We are so thrilled to announce that we will be offering a group supervision opportunity to dietitians looking to expand their skills on supporting children and adolescents with feeding difficulties including ARFID.
What will we focus on?
Case studies and discussion
Guidance on how to support children with sensory processing differences and food related anxiety
Assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with extreme picking eating including ARFID
Supporting neurodivergent clients and familes (ASD, SPD, RSD, PDA, ADHD)
Responsive feeding therapy
Group structure and dates
Five 90 minute sessions, 6 participants per group
Dates: Sept 29th, Oct 13th, Oct 27th, Nov 10th &Nov 17th
Time: 12:00-1:30 ET

About the facilitators

Naureen Hunani, RD
Naureen is the founder of RDs for Neurodiversity and a neurodivergent registered dietitian with over 15 years of experience. In her private practice, she treats children and families struggling with a variety of feeding challenges through a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive and anti-oppressive approach. She has extensive experience working with neurodivergent families, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing disorder and anxiety disorder. She is a supporter of early diagnosis of feeding differences and advocates for inclusion and acceptance in schools and daycares for children with limited feeding abilities. Naureen shares her knowledge and experience at national and international conferences.

Grace Wong MSc, RD, CEDRD-S
"Grace Wong MSc, RD, CEDRD-S is a registered dietitian specializing in feeding and eating disorders. She has extensive experience in pediatrics and mental health nutrition. She works with a broad range of eating challenges along with medical conditions, mental health concerns, addictions, development concerns, and trauma. Grace is also an approved supervisor recognized by the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals. She provides training and supervision for health professionals working with feeding and eating disorders in Canada and overseas."
